GSuite has deepened the integration between Gmail, GoogleChat and GoogleMeet. It’s now easy to join video conferencing right from your inbox: Google has added Meet to the online version of its mail service, as well as for Android and iOS – and made it completely free for everyone.
As the practice of recent months has shown, working remotely with a huge amount of information, tasks and tools has significantly complicated both professional and personal life. Therefore, G Suite has integrated such core tools as video, chat, email, files and tasks. Now you can quickly join a video call from Chat, forward a message from Chat to your inbox, create a task from a message — all bundled together to manage your workflow as easily as possible. In addition, you can create Chat rooms that have people outside of your company, such as contractors or consultants, and your group can be not only cross-functional, but also cross-organizational. Also, there was an opportunity to collaborate in real time with the ability to open and jointly edit a document with your team without leaving Gmail. Last but not least, there are now several new security features for Meet and Chat that give hosts even more control over meetings.
