“AVTEK” company is one of the leaders in the automotive market in Ukraine, which has been successfully operating for 30 years. “AVTEK” company is the official distributor of FORD TRUCKS and an authorized dealer of such prestigious brands as FOTON, SOLARIS, RASCO, KASSBOHRER, HIDRO-MAK, ERDEMLI and HYVA.
AVTEK offers a wide range of equipment – from trucks and passenger vehicles to tractors, construction and special equipment. There is also a variety of attachments and spare parts to fully meet the needs of customers. Each unit of equipment is the result of a carefully thought-out selection, which guarantees safety, reliability and a long service life.
REQUEST:
AVTEK approached Wise IT with a request to replace its firewall with a more modern, economical, and compact device, provided with reliable support.
RESULT:
Having considered AVTEK’s request, Wise IT specialists offered the client a FortiGate-100F firewall that met all of the customer’s requirements. After a successful pilot, AVTEK received the equipment, necessary licenses, and service support.
Business challenge
AVTEK faced a number of challenges in ensuring network security. The existing telecommunications equipment operated without a service contract, which complicated maintenance and upgrades. The growth of external cyber threats required a modern solution that could guarantee reliable network perimeter protection, reduce operating costs, reduce energy consumption and optimize the use of space in the data center.
Solution
After a thorough analysis of AVTEK’s needs, Wise IT specialists proposed the integration of the FortiGate-100F firewall. This solution allows to satisfy all the existing needs of the client, and also opens up new opportunities for increasing the level of security.

Customer feedback
Based on the results of the pilot project, we concluded that the proposed Wise IT solution suits us 100%. We signed a contract, received the device, and then put it into operation using previously tested changes. We would like to note the excellent support from Wise IT even at the pilot project stage, which allowed specialists who have no experience in handling Fortinet equipment to install and configure it in up to 2 weeks in an optional mode. Currently, the equipment has been operating for over six months, and there are no concerns on the reliability and quality of its work.
