SOTI’s Mobile Device Management for the Multiplex cinema chain
MULTIPLEX is the largest chain of cinemas in Ukraine, founded in 2004. MULTIPLEX owns 26 cinemas and 147 cinema halls in the largest cities of Ukraine. The company actively supports and invests in the development of Ukrainian cinema.
REQUEST:
The MULTIPLEX team approached Wise IT with a request to integrate a solution for remote management of employees’ mobile devices.
RESULT:
Wise IT, together with EMM (enterprise mobility management) solution provider SOTI, organized a pilot of SOTI MobiControl, a platform for managing mobile devices. The customer was satisfied with the results of the pilot project and received a reliable solution for device administration.
Business challenge
The MULTIPLEX team was looking for a solution to several problems: the complexity of technical support for corporate mobile devices, the excessive time spent on the road for manual troubleshooting, as well as the insufficient security of the devices and the network.
For the coordinated and safe operation of corporate Android smartphones intended for ticket scanning and other employee tasks, it was decided to connect an MDM (mobile device management) system. This would ensure full control over all devices on the network and advanced cybersecurity.
Solution
Wise IT, together with EMM solution provider SOTI, conducted a pilot project using SOTI MobiControl, an advanced platform for business mobility. The pilot project lasted several months, which allowed the MULTIPLEX team to fully test the functionality of SOTI MobiControl and make sure of the decision to use this particular software for managing employees’ devices.
The customer’s team was satisfied with the results of the pilot — 120 corporate Android devices were provided with a reliable MDM solution.
