Wise IT specialists developed a vacation and time off coordination system for the «Sona-Pharm» company.
“Sona-Pharm” is an international company founded in 2004, which occupies a leading position in the Ukrainian market and is a reliable partner of the world leader in pharmaceuticals – the German company Merck. The company meets the needs of modern medicine and actively develops the sale of drugs in such areas as reproductive medicine, oncology, neurology and endocrinology.
Since 2009, Sona-Pharm began working in Kazakhstan and Moldova, and in 2017 it increased its presence on the CIS market and added Belarus, Georgia, Armenia and Uzbekistan to its area of responsibility. Currently, work is underway to enter the market of Mongolia and other Central Asian countries.
The company “Sona-Pharm” unites doctors, pharmacists, marketers and financiers who work not only in different departments, but also in different countries. A unified system for optimizing vacations and days off for employees was needed, which simplifies the procedure for agreeing and coordinating the absence of an employee at the workplace.
A system for agreeing the need for absence at the workplace was developed. Confirmation of the request takes place at several levels, as the employee must be replaced during the employee’s absence. It was also necessary to track the amount of non-working time. Since the system required uninterrupted information exchange and quick access to data at any time, two applications from Google Workspace, namely Google Forms and Google Sheets, were used to develop the system. The Apps Script programming language was used to connect the two applications.
