Google has launched Agentspace, a new AI platform for business that unlocks an organization’s collective expertise. It uses AI agents that combine the power of Gemini, Google Search, and enterprise data to help employees complete complex tasks like planning, research, content creation, and decision-making.
Key features of Google Agentspace:
- NotebookLM Data Analytics: Allows employees to upload information to generate insights, discover ideas, and interact with data (e.g., through AI-powered audio podcasts). Introducing the experimental version of Gemini 2.0 Flash.
- Enterprise-wide information search: Provides a single multimodal search engine that works with unstructured (documents, email) and structured (spreadsheets) data. It can answer complex questions, make suggestions, and connect to popular applications (Confluence, Drive, Jira, SharePoint) through out-of-the-box connectors. Has built-in translation.
- AI experts for automation: Allows you to create contextually-adapted AI agents for different departments (marketing, finance, engineering, etc.). These agents help with research, content creation, and automation of multi-step workflows. A visual low-code tool for building your own agents is coming soon.
Agentspace benefits different teams (business analysts, HR, developers, marketers), supports multilingualism, and is built on a secure Google Cloud infrastructure with granular security management (RBAC, VPC Service Controls, IAM).
