REQUEST:
The INTERPIPE team aimed to create a stable and scalable online resource capable of handling high traffic. To achieve this, the client required support in configuring the AWS cloud platform.
RESULT:
The Wise IT team successfully deployed the online resource using Amazon Web Services infrastructure (EC2, VPC, RDS).
Business Challenge
The INTERPIPE team approached Wise IT with a request to deploy a stable, secure, and scalable corporate website. The main challenge was building the appropriate cloud infrastructure from scratch and finely tuning it to meet the project’s specific technical requirements, which demanded deep cloud expertise.
Solution
The Wise IT team designed and implemented a comprehensive solution for deploying the INTERPIPE corporate website on Amazon Web Services, following best practices in cloud architecture.
1. Building a secure network infrastructure:
First, a Virtual Private Cloud (AWS VPC) was created, providing an isolated and secure network environment for all site components. This enabled strict access control and enhanced overall security.
2. Standardization and automation of deployment:
Wise IT experts developed a reference template for a virtual machine (EC2 Template). This template included all necessary software components and libraries, enabling automated launch of new instances of the corporate website, ensuring their consistency and compliance with standards.
3. Configuring a reliable database:
To store and manage corporate website data, a managed relational database (AWS RDS) was deployed. This solution relieved the client of database administration tasks, providing high availability, backups, and easy scaling.
4. Optimizing the web server environment:
The final stage involved fine-tuning the internal components of the virtual machine — Nginx and Apache web servers, as well as the PHP environment. The configuration was optimized to meet the specific requirements of INTERPIPE’s corporate website to ensure maximum stability, speed, and performance.
INTERPIPE received a corporate website deployed on reliable, secure, and flexible AWS infrastructure, fully ready for stable operation and future development.
