Apple held a major event, showcasing not only traditional updates to key products, but also its first foldable smartphone.
iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max
The flagships feature the A20 Pro chip focused on processing local artificial intelligence. The main camera upgrade is a 48-megapixel Fusion module with a dynamic aperture that adapts to lighting conditions. Additionally, developers reduced the Dynamic Island cutout and expanded the vapor chamber for improved cooling. Claimed battery life reaches up to 36 hours for the Pro version and 45 hours for the Pro Max. The models are available in Silver, Deep Black, Glacier, and Burgundy.
iPhone Duo — the first foldable iPhone
The event’s main surprise features an outer display and a large flexible inner display with an iOS interface tailored for multitasking. The hinge has been reinforced with stiffening ribs and ceramic fibers, while the crease on the inner panel was minimized thanks to a nano-texture coating. The smartphone is equipped with a dual 48 MP camera system and delivers up to 31 hours of battery life on the main display (and up to 44 hours on the outer display). The device comes in White and Dark Blue finishes.
Apple Watch 12 / Ultra 4
Apple smartwatches received advanced heart monitoring and new analytical metrics in the Health app — workload readiness score (Readiness) and biological age assessment (Health Age).
AirPods 5
The entry-level AirPods 5 have moved significantly closer to the Pro version thanks to the addition of Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and an improved Adaptive EQ.
The presentation clearly outlined the company’s new direction: while the Pro series and accessories received evolutionary upgrades, the iPhone Duo marks Apple’s entry into a brand-new segment of foldable devices.
