VMware Cloud Foundation 4.5.2 released: features and improvements

What’s New in 4.5.2?

Enhanced License Flexibility

Seamlessly transition from a keyed license to the keyless subscription model of VMware Cloud Foundation+. In version 4.5.2 of Cloud Foundation, you can take advantage of mixed licensing within the same VCF instance, while maintaining consistent licensing within a specific workload domain. Additionally, mixed-mode licensing support is now available for VMware Cloud Foundation on Dell VxRail with the 4.5.2 release.

Improved Prechecks

The Bill of Materials (BOM) Deviation Precheck has been enhanced to ensure a smooth upgrade process by identifying any asynchronous patches that may have been applied when the Async Patch Tool was utilized in the environment.

Product Updates

Company has integrated the latest iterations of VMware NSX, VMware vCenter Server, and VMware ESXi, granting you access to the most recent features and critical bug fixes. Notably, the Bill of Materials has been updated to include new versions of the following products:
